The Books of Glyn Woolley

You can witness an amazing combination of history and love, courage and authenticity. Whether Glyn is writing about the quiet danger of life in France during World War II or the fast and risky world of spies in modern Europe, his stories always focus on people and how they deal with hard times. His first book, The Night of The Full Moon, is a love story that takes place during the last months of the Nazi occupation in France. His second book, The Nice Protocol, is a thrilling story about spies, secret codes, and staying alive in today’s Europe, where danger can be anywhere.

The night of The Full Moon

A Story of Love, Loss, and Bravery in Occupied France

The story takes place in the last six months of 1944 during World War II, in the small town of Montauban in southern France. In this quiet town, Yvette is a brave young woman. Pascal is a kind and hardworking farmer. They fall in love and share happy moments. But their life is always shadowed by danger because German soldiers occupy their town.

The Nice Protocol

A High-Stakes International Thriller That Will Leave You Breathless

In his second novel, Glyn Woolley pivots into the adrenaline-fueled world of international espionage, bringing readers a page-turning thriller set on the sun-drenched but deadly streets of Nice. When a courier is brutally murdered and a mysterious memory stick vanishes, George Landon—a seemingly ordinary book publishing expert—is yanked into a deadly global conspiracy.

Meet the Author

Meet the mastermind behind the masterpieces, Glyn Woolley. With his novels, he illuminated the complex genre of historical stories. Do not view the darkest period of World War II just as a time of war; it tells the stories of the most courageous people who confronted numerous challenges and set examples of bravery, hope, and love.

This interest is personal to him. His mother was a nurse during the war, and the final evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940—her last evacuation, by the way— was an act of silent courage that remained in family lore. Her spirit of survival lived in Glyn because she died when he was just a baby. She became a part of him, instilling an inquisitiveness about the common folk who had to live through exceptional circumstances.

Glyn is now retired, having spent over 50 years in his own export business. He resides in the quiet Wiltshire town of Corsham with his wife. He spends his days with family: his daughter and her two children, his son, and his four boys. It’s a busy, loving whirlwind that keeps him down to earth. Let’s explore his writing skills, which have inspired readers.
